The Bespoke Experience with Vinny & Charles

  • Communication, inspiration & consultation

    We'll send through a questionnaire form & request any sketches, inspiration or ideas. We explore budget, material types & more!

  • Concept development & details

    Together we will consider the practicality, proportions, stones, metal & every detail. A quote will then be sent, approved & paid in full before the next steps!

  • Prep & production

    We'll then create a 3D digital CAD render. You review. Take your time to make any small changes & make sure you are 110% happy. (Any major redesigns or major changes will require a requote.)

  • Packaging

    Your ring will be made with love & shipping direct to you or locally picked up! You'll find an authenticity certificate in your inbox or printed by request.Vinny & Charles have officially become part of your story.

You’ve asked so we answered these frequently ask questions.
Why can I only see my design after my order is placed?

Several hours are spent creating design mock-ups and we are still able to make changes during this stage (Step #3). Rest assured we will work with you to create your dream design. Only once approved by you will we go into the physical production of the piece.

How long will it take to make my custom ring?

All pieces are hand crafted & require expert attention to detail. Expect your custom ring to be completed within 4-6 weeks. Each design is unique, and the total production time depends on several factors, including the design process finalisation, approval time and your gemstone selection as we may need to source materials.

This is just a guideline and can be longer due to stone availability and complexity of the design.

How much does a custom design cost?

Custom designs start from AU$3000. This may increase due to the number of stones used, metal type used eg 14k vs 18k gold and the complexity of the design.

What gemstones can I use in my design?

We make use of a wide range of beautiful stones in our jewellery. We highly recommend lab diamonds, Moissanite, and Sapphire as centre stones and side stones.

Unfortunately we do not work with Opal.

Why is my quote only valid for 7 days?

Precious metal prices change daily and due to current market conditions, quotes are not valid for an unlimited amount of time. Please reach out if more than 7 days have passed between you receiving your quote as a new price may be applicable.

Can you remake my existing jewellery into a new piece?

We do not currently melt down customers’ gold to make their new piece, however we are able to credit any old jewellery supplied against the cost of a new ring. The credited jewellery will then be used in our recycled gold initiative.
